This class was absolutely wonderful! We learned how to break down a duck (more practice is needed, but now we know what to do) and so many different recipes to try at home. The hands on element is terrific, and it is so exciting to see your results being enjoyed by other participants. The teacher is incredibly knowledgeable and encouraging and supports everyone in the class. The 10% off produce at the end of the class is just such a bonus.

I thoroughly enjoyed the hands on duck cooking course. Wendy was a very knowledgeable teacher. I left the course feeling confident that I could now cook duck. The only problem with this course was that we had so much food to eat after the cooking was done that I couldn’t do the food justice. May be a small doggy bag might have helped me to enjoy the food the next day.

The large Luv A Duck headquarters is close to light rail, buses and parking is at their venue. The group cooking class was inside an attractive and modern setting. There were tips about preparing, cooking and shopping for duck. Easy to follow take home recipe sheets. Lots of colour, flavours and fragrants from diverse ingredients such as cherries, quince, apricots and plums combined into a variety of duck recipes provided the group with a delicious sit down Christmas feast and drinks. Good value!

We attended a weeknight Christmas Duck course, and thoroughly loved it. I am a complete novice with duck, but this course catered really well to people with different duck carving abilities. The ladies who ran the course were really encouraging and unlike some other cooking or decorating courses I have done, I didn’t feel rushed or like I was falling behind due to the help from the chefs. Would thoroughly recommend this course to everyone else!

The class was well run and informative. Our group was actually 4 participants short of the number expected, which was in our favour – I’m wondering if the kitchen could’ve become a bit congested with more than the 8 people who attended. Overall, I’d definitely consider participating in more duck classes!
